September 8: Here is a marriage of the
toy company of our youth, Whamo, and climate change. I was reading an article about the rebirth of
the company and after being sold a few times, they are trying for a “comeback”
marrying nostalgic toys with innovations.
One of them addresses climate change and drought. They have a “secret formula” for creating a
Slip’N’Slide that uses no water! I hadn’t
thought about how playing in the sprinkler is becoming harmful, not to mention
politically incorrect. But a slip-and-slide with no water is genius! But... there's always a but!... How would you cool off?
